"Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." - Luke 12:6-7
Whenever I read this passage it reminds me that God’s love for us is unlike any human love. He intricately loves you. He loves the small details about you and He knows everything there is to know about you. It’s kind of crazy that someone could know you better than you know yourself but God does!
God is everywhere all the time. He knows everything happening in this world. He knows all the good about you but He also knows all the bad about you. He knows about the lies you’ve told and the things you did that nobody knows about. But yet He still chooses you! His love for you is so unconditional that despite the bad we may do it never stops God’s love from reaching us. God wants to forgive you if you would just ask. He wants to help you flee from sin and run into His loving arms.
Prayer:
God thank you that you love me intricately and unconditionally. Thank you that you have chosen me despite all of my sins. I could never earn your love yet you give it freely. God please bring to mind any sins in my life that I have not asked forgiveness for yet. Help me to turn away from these sins and back into your loving arms. I love you Jesus. Amen.
